Also in 2026, the TECH IN CONSTRUCTION will be on June 24 and 25, 2026 through a so-called satellite event day on June 23, 2026 added. Spread over Berlin, various companies and organizations will organize events around the future of the construction industry. It is possible for interested parties to participate in the TECH IN CONSTRUCTION with their own event format. All events will be communicated before TECH IN CONSTRUCTION on the homepage and on social networks. Visitors to TECH IN CONSTRUCTION can register for the events free of charge.
The free registration for satellite organizers is possible even at short notice.
What are Satellite Events?
Satellite events are accompanying events that can be held by interested partners as part of the TECH IN CONSTRUCTION.
During the TECH IN CONSTRUCTION, lectures or workshops are only held during the lunch break and after the end of the trade fair. Visitors should focus fully on the exhibiting startups. But on the first day there is enough room for further events. For this purpose, we cooperate with external partners who want to offer their own events. These are the so-called satellite events, which are conducted as a networking brunch, lecture, workshop, lunch & learn, speed networking, meetup or party in various locations in the Berlin city area. At TECH IN CONSTRUCTION, a total of around 1,000 to 1,500 guests are expected in Berlin, who will be divided into the various community events on the first day. Participation in the events is free of charge, but it is subject to registration. All guests are welcome, but the participants of the TECH IN CONSTRUCTION have priority when registering.
What does a typical satellite event look like?
Satellite events are accompanying events with a strong networking character. It is not about organizing "glossy events" with a perfect design for a large number of guests. The focus is on the visitors and the exchange of ideas. Therefore, the organizational effort is very manageable. A pointed thematic focus is an advantage to stand out from the other satellite events. In the end, a special theme and attractive framework conditions (fancy location, renowned speakers, good catering, etc.) attract many guests.
How is a Satellite Event organized?
As host of a satellite event, you become part of the TECH IN CONSTRUCTION community. The satellite organizer decides on the topic and the format of the satellite event. They determine how many people are admitted and provide the appropriate premises. These are usually the organizer's own offices, but can also be rented event spaces. Coworking spaces are particularly suitable for out-of-town organizers. On request, we will be happy to help you find a suitable space.
We take care that the events of our partners are publicized and attended accordingly. In this way, satellite events enable our partners to invite a highly relevant target group to their events.
We are looking for topics that address current challenges and developments in the construction industry and fit at least one of the following areas:
- Digitalization and transformation of the construction industry
- Serial and modular construction and renovation
- Robotic
- Energy efficiency und Circular Economy
- BIM
- Skills shortage
- Smart Building und Predicitive Maintenance
- other digital topics
Why should I organize a satellite event myself?
Satellite events as part of TECH IN CONSTRUCTION leverage the awareness and appeal of the brand and the overarching theme of digital design and construction. Hosts can join the movement for free and become part of the community. TECH IN CONSTRUCTION attracts forward and continuing thinkers in the construction industry who want to learn and share information about innovation and the future of the construction industry in a variety of ways. Satellite organizers can take advantage of the image transfer and present themselves to the attractive target group as pioneers.
The organization requires little effort and is relatively inexpensive to implement. The satellite organizer can design the satellite event according to his own wishes and present his own product or service accordingly. This also offers the opportunity to position oneself as a leading provider. Ticketing for the satellite events takes place via the TECH IN CONSTRUCTION platform and does not incur any additional costs for the satellite organizers. All registration data of the participants will be handed over to the organizers.
What we offer:
- an interested audience of approximately 1,000 to 1,500 trade visitors from the construction industry, independently divided among a variety of events throughout the city
- Promotion and presentation of the event as a full-fledged element in the TECH IN CONSTRUCTION program
- a full accreditation as a visitor at TECH IN CONSTRUCTION 2026
In the so-called Call for Participation, organizations, authorities, companies and private individuals can apply with their own events for participation. Please enter your contact details and a description of the event in the form below. Submissions are possible until February 10, 2023. auch kurzfristig noch .
After the submission deadline, a volunteer program committee reviews all submissions. The program committee evaluates the submissions thematically and professionally. It then compiles a coherent daily program from the submissions.
